Within the Aquarian mysticism, universal symbols released by higher powers are used frequently. Each of these symbols represents a part of the being of the Universal Christ. The Universal Christ is, like everything else in life, divided into three parts: His lower being, His higher being and His highest being. On each of these three levels the thirteen universal powers on which life in creation is founded, are active. Consequently, the Christ has three times thirteen active levels. The universal symbols mentioned in the Aquarian mysticism (three times thirteen) are guides (inductors) with which these active levels can be activated.
When translated to man’s situation the above may be phrased differently:
When a person looks within himself, wishing to disclose the Universal Christ within, he can evoke his lower, higher or highest being. By doing so, the powers of transformation, transmutation and creation are being activated. Because the thirteen creative powers of life are active on each level, we have thirteen transformation, thirteen transmutation and thirteen creation symbols. It is obvious that these are the same 39 symbols with which the Universal Christ can be called upon (disclosed).
Man’s creative powers
As explained, man can work with the power of the Universal Christ, the power of creation on three levels, namely:
1. Transformation
With the thirteen creative powers of life that are active via the lower being of the Universal Christ, man is capable of transforming karma on each level of life. The pure positive quality of the power of creation (pure, positive karma) evoked from within the Universal Christ will immediately neutralize the negative quality of karma. Because where love exists, where the pure, positive quality of the power of creation becomes active, karma – and thus suffering – can no longer exist. With transformation a person can work for himself, his fellow-man, all of the life forms surrounding him, and for Creation itself.

2. Transmutation
Through the higher being of the Universal Christ, the thirteen powers of creation can be activated to transmutate (recreate) undesirable situations in life. Through transmutation the power of creation is mobilized. This activates the blueprint of life, hereby converting the existing situation into one that is more compatible with the purpose of life, as originally laid down in its blueprint. The most loving, highest attainable, most perfect situation possible within the circumstances of the persons concerned will thereby be activated in the present situation.

3. Creation
Through the highest being of the Universal Christ man can create. Thus, in a figurative sense, he becomes a co-creator who, by using the highest levels of the power of creation, takes everything that lives to his/her/its evolutionary destiny. Man can only create from within the divine will as laid down in the Plan of Creation, unless he is allowed to do highly initiating work for life itself, because of his level of development of consciousness.
