The Sofia Foundation was founded on 22 November 2001, with the aim of shaping to the universal basic mysticism, which has been released to serve as a guideline for the Aquarian Age (2000-4000). Because the received Aquarian mysticism brings new insights to life in various fields, the Foundation seeks to help publish and disseminate these in a professional way, trying to do so both at home and abroad. Besides that, it tries to guard the purity of mysticism by only supporting the work inspired by the Universal Christ via the akasha, in the ways as mentioned in its aims.
The origins of the Foundation
The Sofia Foundation was founded by Sonia Bos, a mystic who has been receiving inspiration from the Universal Christ via her mystic connection since 1985. She was allowed to record the Aquarian mysticism inspired by Him from within the akasha since 1992.
From 1992 until 2000 Sonia was allowed to record the basics of mysticism connected with the confirmation of the Aquarian blueprint. After the confirmation of the Aquarian blueprint, she was allowed to explore this mysticism further and make it applicable to many areas of life. In this way, she had already received a substantial flow of universal teachings for the Aquarian Age and this work still continues. From the course her life has taken she has thus understood that the recording of the Aquarian mysticism is her life’s work.
However, Sonia has recently come to the conclusion that a task serving so great a universal importance should no longer be borne solely by a devoted group of volunteers including herself and that it has to be carried out in a different way in order to secure the continuation of this work and its professionality. For that reason, she chose to set up the Sofia Foundation, so that it could serve the higher, more comprehensive interests of the Aquarian mysticism.
The Sofia Foundation has been set up in such a broad manner that, besides Sonia, also other mystics and those who will become mystics in the future, will be able to request support from the Foundation. However, support will be given solely on the condition that their work satisfies the purpose and quality values of the Foundation, so that the universal character of the work remains guaranteed.
The start of the Foundation
In the meantime, Sonia has fully integrated her life’s work into the Sofia Foundation. Therefore, her universal work is normally received during lectures organized by the Foundation. She also intends to bequeath her spiritual inheritance to the Foundation, thereby safeguarding the Aquarian mysticism for the future.
For similar reasons Sonia has donated the publishing house, De Gouden Kroon (The Golden Crown), founded by her in 1995, to the Foundation. Therefore, the Foundation has its own publishing house and has become fully independent regarding the support of mystics and the publication of their books.
The open structure
Because Sonia’s work has been integrated into the Sofia Foundation, she has chosen to make this outstanding universal work for the world non-personal, but also to make it accessible to many mystic channels. You too, are invited to participate. Either actively via your inspiration, or as a volunteer for the Foundation, but, if you are not able to do so, perhaps through a financial donation. In short, you are all invited to contribute to this universal work and join hands with the committee of the Sofia Foundation.

Aim:
The aim of the Sofia Foundation is to further disseminate and to ensure accessibility to the Aquarian mysticism both at home and abroad.
The Foundation presently meets this target by:
• organizing/facilitating lectures and seminars on subjects related to Aquarian mysticism;
• enabling the publication and translation of this mysticism;
• Disseminating and promoting the knowledge of the Aquarian mysticism both at home and abroad;
• supporting persons and activities serving the dissemination and knowledge of the Aquarian mysticism;
• publishing a newsletter (in Dutch only).
Donations
The Sofia Foundation has been officially recognized as an institution serving the public interest. This implies, among other things, that donations made to the Foundation can be deducted from your income tax, according to the rules as set by the tax department of your country.
You can also make a donation in the form of an annuity (for at least 5 years). In that case the amount paid is tax-deductible in full. However, such an annuity must be executed by a notary, which we will be happy to organize for you. Due to the costs involved, the donation must be at least € 250 per annum.
You can name the Sofia Foundation in your will; you can also benefit it by a bequest or by a donation. Because the Sofia Foundation is officially recognized, it qualifies an exceptionally low tax rate and so only a small part of your legacy, bequest or donation will be taxed.
