The secretariat of the Sofia Foundation originates in Sonia's office during the years when she had a practice as a spiritual healer. During that period it dawned on her that man actually is his own personal aid and that he can participate actively herein through the Christ within himself. Having overcome her inner turmoil regarding this dilemma – for didn’t she abandon man to his fate? – she closed down her practice in 1991. She used the energy released to be a channel for the Aquarian mysticism, which had just begun to flow. The central factor in this was self-initiated activity, to learn to work in accordance with the Christ within, and from there, to work with the power of creation. This was confirmed what she had intuitively known for years.
The co-workers of the secretariat of the Sofia Foundation are therefore asked to stimulate the self-initiated activity of people at all times. They are there to work as a link between you and the many seminars, lectures and other facilities provided by the Aquarian mysticism, both for your self-healing and self-initiated activity and for the world's. The Sofia Foundation provides the mysticism released to mankind, but your ideal starting point depends entirely on your situation in life. The co-workers can advise you in this if you wish. They can also assist you to find books and cd’s that can help bring about the healing of your complaints and disorders.
As you may understand, the secretariat of the Sofia Foundation is not an organization providing medical, psychological or social assistance; the co-workers are not qualified for that and the time and attention they can give to a person is limited because of the other work they do. The Sofia Foundation, therefore, honours the point of view that you yourself remain responsible for the interpretation of the advice given. The secretariat mainly looks after the interests of the Foundation, including the enormous amount of work surrounding Sonia’s activities, as well as matters concerning the publishing house "De Gouden Kroon" (The Golden Crown). All in all, this is an extremely extensive task, placed on the shoulders of volunteers who do this work because they are totally committed to the ideals of the Foundation.
The Sofia Foundation provides the universal basic mysticism released for the Aquarian Age. The co-workers of the secretariat are pleased to show you the way to lectures, seminars, books and cd’s in order to provide a link that may help you to optimize your health, your social circumstances and your functioning. They will offer you help, but always with the intention that you will take responsibility for your life inspired from within, from the Christ within yourself. This is the direction in which the Aquarian mysticism is guiding you.
